School Breakfast Program
Mount Holly Township School District is making an effort to increase participation in our School Breakfast Program. Research has shown that eating breakfast helps students pay attention, improves academic performance, and leads to better behavior in the classroom. All schools will be serving a healthy breakfast to students each morning during arrivals. Students may either eat in the cafeteria or bring their school-provided breakfast to their homerooms to eat. This philosophy will enable us to feed a healthy breakfast to a large number of students in a short amount of time.
Here are a few points of clarification regarding our breakfast program:
- Breakfast menus will be available on our website.
- Breakfast for the 2019-2020 school year is $1.80 per day at the John Brainerd Elementary School and the Gertrude C. Folwell School and $1.90 per day at the F.W. Holbein Middle School.
- If you qualify, reduced price breakfast is $0.30 per day. Those who qualify for free lunch will be served breakfast at no cost.
- Forms must be returned no later than Friday, September 13, 2019. Forms returned after the due date will take approximately 1 week to process and could result in a delinquent cafeteria balance.
